Used in Native American/First Nations traditions, as well as in every shamanic tradition around the world, holding also other sacred tools; drums, rattles, pipes and talking sticks.
I bead semi-precious stones into the seams of the bags, and decorate them with creative intuition. Using Genuine Deer hide,and stitched with sinew. My bags honor the Medicine wheel with the 4 strand braid and I weave Reiki (Divine Blessings) into them as well. When I create my bags, I work within sacred space - everything is smudged with sage/palo santo/copal.
